Beach House é um duo americano de dream pop e indie pop formado em 2004 em Baltimore, Maryland, pela francesa Victoria Legrand e o americano nascido em Baltimore, Alex Scally[1]. Seu auto-intitulado álbum de estréia, Beach House, de 2006, ficou na 16º colocações na listas dos melhores álbuns do site Pitchfork[2].

O estilo da banda é freqüentemente identificado como dream pop somado a notável influência do estilo shoegaze. Apresenta músicas de ritmo lento e letras atmosféricas, caracterizado pela guitarradroning de Alex Scally, e o vocal de Victoria Legrand, muitas vezes comparados com a voz de Nico, do Velvet Undeground[3].
